COMBATIVES SELF DEFENSEPersonal DefenseThis class will include basic physical personal defense principles. It will help develop a well conditioned mind and body in order to help protect yourself and family. Tactics taught will be developed from various martial arts and self defense systems worldwide. It will be a low intensity course concentrating on personal defense taught to law enforcement and military, but tailored to the everyday person in order to defend and get away or control until help arrives.

Combat Kids Fitness
This course will be a kids only class geared to strengthen and build confidence. It will be made up of boot camp style fitness incorporating games and challenges. The goal is to create a lifelong enjoyment of fitness. Intro to Kettlebell**
This course will introduce you to one of the newest techniques in gaining strength, getting in shape and functional fitness through kettlebell exercises. With the instruction of a certified kettlebell coach, you will learn the basic techniques and ideas to incorporate this equipment into your fitness routine. This seminar will help to learn basic kettlebell function and new exercises for your own routine. It will also assist in giving you experience of some of the kettlebell exercises used in CAPA's Boot Camp class. |
Combat Kids Sport Focus
Individual or group training focused on development of conditioning, speed, agility and strength specific to your student athlete goals. Muay Thai Basics
This course will introduce you to the basics of Muay Thai boxing. This combat sport uses stand-up striking and clinching techniques and the use of elbows, fists, knees and shins. |
Kids Self Defense Seminar**
This special seminar will be held periodically to give kids a knowledge and confidence to protect themselves from the bad guy. This will be taught through developing skills of threat awareness and kid friendly physical and mental defensive tactics. Intro to Punching (Striking)**
This course will teach the foundations of throwing the proper punch. It will include basic principles of stance, hand and body position. The seminar will also touch on other basic strikes such as kicks, knees and elbows. All beginners are encouraged to check this course out to assist with proper techniques and will greatly help with classes offered such as Fighter Fit - Cardio Kickboxing. It's also great for experienced athletes in order to brush up on strikes already known. |
